Anthony first got involved in music in 1987 by playing bass guitar in a punk/metal crossover band called Feudal Society..Inspired by a diverse range of bands from The Misfits to AC/DC, The Meatmen and Anthrax, he learned the basics of arranging and playing. Feudal Society were Featured Artists on radio station WRSU 88.7 in January 1989.

  In the early 1990s, Anthony joined the Necrodoom band Gomorrah, side project of Will Kuberski of Deteriorot. Despite the brevity of this collaboration, a full-length CD has been released under the Elegy Records label.

In the mid-nineties, the precursor to Orchestra Diabolica was formed under the name Blood Moon Order. A limited four-song cassette tape was recorded and released (see photo) by Anthony. A few copies of this cassette are available for purchase in the website shop.
